Works on the tram terminus in Mistrzejowice are entering the next stage. On Tuesday, August 20, the assembly of prefabricated track slabs will begin.
The use of ERS technology, i.e. a system of fastening the rail in the lagging, will allow for the creation of a durable track surface. This solution ensures the reduction of vibrations and noise generated by passing trams, which will ensure the comfort of life of the inhabitants of the surrounding areas. This is one of the ways to build modern tracks – we will inform you about others as the work progresses.
Safety is a priority.
Due to numerous unexploded ordnance found at the construction site of the tram terminus in Mistrzejowice, sapper teams are still watching over the work. During earthworks, specialists inspect each layer of soil during excavation. For the sake of the safety of residents and construction workers, this process must be carried out as accurately as possible. Therefore, although this has an impact on the pace of implementation, such strict safety measures are crucial for the successful completion of the investment.
From last week
During the progress of works as part of the KST IV Tram to Mistrzejowice investment, the old transformer station disappeared from the landscape of Dobrego Pasterza Street last week. And during the long weekend, the residents of 4-6 Meissnera Street could already enjoy the partially commissioned parking lot. Work in this area will soon be completed in its entirety. Residents of 4-6 Meissnera Street can still use the available parking lot on Pilotów Street.
