In August, work on the construction of the new rapid tram line to Mistrzejowice in Kraków made significant progress. The largest Public-Private Partnership project in Poland, though not without challenges, is delivering visible results. As we bid farewell to August, we reflect on the successes—what has been achieved?

Many significant tasks have been completed in the areas of energy and telecommunications. The foundation work for the traction poles at the Mistrzejowice loop was carried out under constant bomb disposal supervision. We also completed the comprehensive construction of cable ducts, telecommunications infrastructure, and signalization ducts on key sections around the Mistrzejowice loop, Dobrego Pasterza Street, Lublańska Street, Młyńska Street, and Meissnera Street. Particularly challenging were the fiber optic network reconstruction works around the Mistrzejowice loop, where the team’s precise actions ensured safe and efficient execution, maintaining uninterrupted network operation. Despite the ongoing presence of bomb disposal experts in the area, the smooth progress of the work, though slower, is still a reason for satisfaction.

Additionally, we successfully resolved electrical conflicts at critical locations such as Lublańska Street, Barei Roundabout, and Dobrego Pasterza Street.

In August, work began on the final road construction on Młyńska Street. Road foundations and structural layers were laid on the section between the Castorama entrance and Bohaterów Wietnamu Street. The first curbs for the “new” Młyńska Street were installed. A key element for further progress was the implementation of a temporary traffic organization at Polsadu Roundabout and Lublańska Street, which introduced a new traffic geometry. More.

Intensive work is still ongoing on Lublańska Street for the deepening of diaphragm walls. These are crucial for the construction of the tunnel, which will end at Barei Roundabout.

Work related to water, heating, gas, sanitary, and stormwater networks was equally intensive and conducted throughout the entire construction area. Activities were carried out on streets such as Meissnera, Młyńska, Lublańska, Dobrego Pasterza, Bohomolca, and Jancarza. Currently, intensive work is underway on Krzesławicka Street. More.

But it’s not all about construction! Last month, at the Information Point, we served delicious, refreshing lemonade as part of the “Lemonade for Residents” campaign. This was in support of homeless animals from the Kraków Shelter. It was not only an ideal opportunity to show great heart and empathy but also to inquire about details related to the KST IV investment. We are thrilled by the tremendous interest in our event. Thank you on behalf of the animals from Rybną Street.

Recent months have seen the completion of important construction stages, such as the concreting of ceilings at the “Rondo Polsadu” station and under the overpass on the southern side from Młyńska Street, as well as the rerouting of the Dominikański Brook to a new riverbed. The results from last month have significantly impacted the progress of the works. All network reconstruction activities are carried out with due diligence, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents. Although there is still much work ahead, the progress so far is a reason for optimism.
