Connecting the Dominikański Sudole to a new riverbed, or reconstruction of the tram terminus to Mistrzejowice. There was a lot of progress in the construction of the Fast Tram in June!

On 6 and 20 June, a session of the Construction Council was held, attended by representatives of the Private Partner and local government entities, including the Council of Districts III Prądnik Czerwony and XV Mistrzejowice, as well as interested residents.

On June 24, the tram terminus in Mistrzejowice was closed. The scope of work is enormous, intensive earthworks are being carried out. The reconstruction of the teletechnical network and the underground sanitary and rainwater sewage system is underway. It is also planned to demolish the MPK building at the terminus. Sapper supervision is still underway over the area in connection with the unexploded ordnance landfill found. A team of specialists takes care of the safety of residents.

Works on Sudole Dominikański have been completed. Since 26 June, the underground river has been flowing in a new current.

The construction of a new underground channel is one of the biggest engineering challenges we have ever faced. Work in the city requires precise planning to disrupt the daily lives of residents as little as possible and at the same time ensure efficient organization on the construction site, says Lidia Śmierzchalska, the construction works manager

In addition, it was possible to minimize the difficulties on Klemensa Janickiego Street. They were caused by the reconstruction of the heat pipeline network.

Works related to the reconstruction of the power grid near the transformer station at Dobrego Pasterza Street have also been completed. The works began on June 17 and lasted for 2 weeks.

On 12 June, the Mayor of Krakow, Aleksander Miszalski, personally checked the progress of works as part of the KST4 investment. The Mayor met with the main contractor, representatives of the Private Partner and journalists at the construction site.

On 9 July, the reconstruction of the power grid at 120-122 Dobrego Pasterza Street began. On the same day, works began on the section from Ugorek Street to the crossing in the area of KS Wieczysta. The scope of works concerns the heating network.

In June, we made significant progress in the implementation of infrastructure projects related to the modernization of energy and heating networks. The overconnection of the Dominikański Sudole to the new riverbed has been completed and intensive work has begun on the tram terminus in Mistrzejowice. The discovery of unexploded ordnance from World War II requires special caution from us. Our priority is to ensure the full safety of all residents and employees, which may affect the course of the work. We are doing our best to meet these challenges and monitor progress on an ongoing basis.

We would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the implementation of these tasks. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
